Banquet/meeting location in West LA

I need to find a place for a end of year Banquet/meeting for a group of about 60 people (I have until Novemember for the meeting). We will have a speaker and want it to cost no more than $35-$40 per person. We've had past meetings at hotels but need to change things up. A no host bar would be nice too. We have a lot of big eaters as well.

    Scotty:

Have you looked into the Olympic Collection on Sawtelle and Olympic?

      Bria,

Thanks for the tip, I've never been to or even heard about the Olympic Collection. It looks great, can we get out of there for $35-40?

Not sure - but our son has been to many large bar/bat mitzvahs there so I have a feeling it's fairly reliable - also they have all different sized rooms for your needs - definitely worth checking out. The Napa Valley Grille in Westwood also has a great private room for parties. You might also check Palomino Grill in Westwood and Gardens on Glendon in Westwood. Good luck with the party!

absolutely, i had my sweet sixteen upstairs, and it wasn't too bad at all. we did bring in mini-cobblers for dessert though from cynthia's.

here's some menu options for there: http://ocbanquet.com/main.htm

Napa Valley Grille has private rooms and may be within your budget (no room charge, just food charge only). I've done one there before and I think it was under $40, don't hold me to it though.

Also maybe check out Tanino's, La Terza? They have an upstairs section that can be reserved for parties.
