Didn't Kurowcky's close in June of last year?

It's a French-style rather than Polish (or is that Ukranian?), but Fairway's Fleur de Lys ham is a good sandwich/omelette ham. It's cheap too.

Just came across your post while sitting at my desk at marveling at how good Fairway's Fleur de Lys ham is given the current $5.99/lb. price tag. Absolutely amazing. Really exceptional ham at a terrifically fair price.

FYI - Thread is 5 years old. Posters may be long gone.

Bacynski's. A block away on 2nd Ave at 9th st. I too favored Kurowcky's, but Bacynski's are almost as good.

If you want Polish pork products go to Greenpoint. Several good choices there. Polam, Steves, Nassua, etc......
