Upscale or almost upscale near Ascutney Mt. Vermont

Looking for good restaurants in Ascutney Mt. Vermont area. It seems that the better restaurants are in Woodstock. Help!

      Inn at Weathersfield is about 11 miles form Ascutney - they have both a 'casual' tavern and more upscale dining room. Chef's 5 course tasting menu is great. Lots of local food and nice atmosphere

        Sophie and Zeke's in Claremont, NH. Certainly closer to the almost upscale category. Live music mid-week. From scratch cooking. I recently met the owner/chef--he seems to have the right priorities. Report back if you try it.

          Juniper Inn in Windsor is quite nice and right down the road from Ascutney.
