Tips for Dining, Eating and Food Shopping in the Midwest

Duluth/Superior Anchor Bar

Yum, this is a total dive where the service is rude but the product is so good you keep coming back. I've been meaning to head up there for a while just for a greasy burger and fries.

But it isn't just a greasy burger. They are made fresh patties with tons of options... My personal fav (which I've never seen anywhere else) is the olive burger. Cream cheese and green olive spread on the bun. simple but DELICIOUS. They also have the cashew burger, mexican burger, hawaiian burger etc...

Give it a try next time you are there.

  1. Man, that's a blast from the past. I remember they used to have "Philosophy Night" where taps were $0.50. I'll have to check it out again next time I'm up that way.

    1. Food is very inexpensive but it is also good. Their beer list is impressive. It's a don't miss place when you visiting Superior.
