Tuna Salad

I'm hooked on Jimmy John's Tuna Salad. Does anyone have a similar recipe that I can make at home?

Jimmy John's is a sandwhich chain.

      1. My mom and grandma made the best tuna salad. A can of tuna in oil, drained, chop up celery, pickle relish, a little lemon juice, chopped hard boiled egg, and(I know I'll be crucified for saying this but here goes) mix in Miracle Whip salad dressing, yes Miracle Whip, it has a lemony flavor that goes perfectly with tuna, it is the only use I find acceptable for MW and I already know that for anything else it is Best Foods/Helmans. Try it, you'll like it.

        1. Just tell JJs you need to know the ingredients. If you get guff, just say it's for allergies to expedite the process. But, they probably won't care. If they make the tuna on site, they should have it all listed out.

            1. I used to work there and this is what they put in it:
-Helmann's/Best Foods mayonnaise (both are the same, depending on where you live you will be able to find one or the other)
-Celery (not too sure about this one)
              -Soy Sauce

I currently work at jimmy johns and this is what we do

Take about six 5oz cans of "Chicken of the Sea chunk light in water" tuna and squeeze it over the sink handful by handful until the water is pretty much all out of it. (this is the tricky/ labor intensive part)
Then add Approx 1/4 cup of soy sauce
                2-3 small onions finely chopped
                5-6 stalks of celery chopped
Mix it all in together (with your hands), then either let it sit in the fridge overnight or immediately Squeeze the tuna again until most of the water is gone again.
Add 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup of Hellman's mayonaise mix it all up (no hands this time) together, and Enjoy!!
