If you could drive down to South Beach there is a great place called Texas de Brazil. They have about 50 items to choose from on the salad bar and the meat is amazing. They also have a superior wine list to any of the other Brazilian Steakhouses.
Have a great time eating and then have a walk on Ocean Blvd. What a great evening.›1 Reply -
I've eaten at a few of the national chains and find Chima to be head and shoulders above them..in quality of meat used..vary degree of doneness, salad bar.
Be sure to go hungry. I forget the exact price but lunch is a bargain at about $30 vs $45 or so for dinner..main diff is no filet mignon at lunch..and I don't find the filet to be the most flavorful cut anyway...prefer skirt, top sirloin and a few others they offer.

I have only eaten at one similar restaurant and I didn't enjoy it at all.I was told that this one particular place was a poor example of a Brazilian Steakhouse so I am more then happy to give it another try.It sounds as though Chima will be the one.As for the filet,I don't care for that cut as well.It is way to lean for me,but I think after dusk will set for a better tone. Thanks for the input.
