      I've been to Foreign Cinema with various dining companions at least a dozen times over the past 8 1/2 years that it has been open and have never had a bad experience there. In fact, it's one restaurant that I can go to with confidence that it will be consistently good in food and service.

        I agree - Foreign Cinema is better. But go to Salt House sometime to try their version of poutine with a cocktail!

            The two times I've been to FC I've been disappointed. Both times with two other couples and no one liked their meals. We all felt like we paid for mediocre food and the privledge to sit on a patio in freezing cold SF. Needless to say I haven't been back for two years so things may have changed.
