Going there tomorrow night-I don't know much about the restaurant. Any thoughts and suggestions?

  1. Was there last night...we mostly drank but I did like both the Charcuterie and Cheese plates...the only main course we tried was the rib-eye which was good. Not great, but good (although at that point we had been drinking for a while).

    I really liked the Pimms Cup and Mai Tai -- both drinks that I wouldn't typically order unless the people behind the bar know what they are doing.

      Do you think that it is a good place for dinner? Or is it better for cocktails?

        I enjoyed what I ate -- I don't know that I'd call it a destination dining spot, but the cocktails and atmosphere and food create a really good package. The food on the other tables *looked* good.

        I was there last night -- Thursday. The front bar room was PACKED. The middle room (kind of the first dining room) was very loud and crowded. The back room (the greenhouse) was much more subdued.

          I went there for cocktails and dinner a few months back. I loved it. Of couse, its known for its cocktails- they are spectacular. I, however, thought the food was excellent as well. The steak tartar was very very good, as was the pork loin. We sat in the back garden area and i loved it...... I would go for dinner AND cocktails

            it was a huge scene when it opened and still is crowded with murray hill types but the place is solid. friendly service from the top management down. i usually go for a drink and something small like the steak tartare

      2. They just changed their menu and chef. Let us know how it goes!

        1. the steak tartar is awesome!! tasted a bite of the salmon and steak - also very good. cheese and meat plates and oysters were also great.
