Italian Dive on Hill

I've heard rumors of an Italian dive spot on the Hill, I think in NE, and would like to check it out tonight. Can anyone point me toward it? Thanks

yeah the only other place on the Hill I can think of that's Italian would be Trattoria Alberto on 8 SE, not my fave, but I wouldn't call it a dive.

I've been once - stay away from the cheesecake and you'll be fin - pizza is good but make it simple - too many topics don't mesh on their pizza

I haven't ever been there, but as a native Washingtonian, I can tell you that you can't be in SE and NE at the same time. Since I live very close to 3rd and D SE and know it isn't there, I looked it up. I'll try to visit soon.
