        <content>Looking for a tabletop fryer for the home.  Major requirement is that the fryer actually be able to reach 375F and relatively easy to clean.  Fast recovery is a must.  Price is not necessarily a factor but I am looking for a consumer model, not a commercial model out of the Superior Products catalog.

      <content>I'd like to hear rec's as well.  Cooks Illustrated made some recommendations several years ago, but most of the best models are no longer available.</content>

      <content>America's Test Kitchen just had these on they liked the Masterbuilt Turk'N'Surf ($199.95), it used 2 gallons of oil and you can't put in less. The Oster Immersion ($79.95) which only used 2 qts had almost as quick a recovery time</content>
