Looking for a BYOB restaurant with tasty food. I don't know the neighborhood too well, so would really appreciate recommendations for places that fit these parameters.
thanks!

  1. I just found a new pizza place (and posted a brief review) - The Pizza Shop on Ave A. They offer really standard pizza place stuff, but it looks really nice and clean. There are booths to sit, and I'm pretty sure they don't serve any alcohol, which means you'd have to bring your own :)

    1. Kuma Inn www.kumainn.com

i like the sound of this Kuma Inn a lot, though it looks like they serve sake, so not byob right?

          They are indeed BYOB.

They used to, but lost their liquor license.

        2. I always recommend it for BYOB in the East Village - Itzocan Cafe - wonderful tiny restaurant; Mexican w/ a French influence. Kuma Inn is also great.
