Bell's is trying to re-enter the Chicago market under a new brand name (Kalamazoo). They believe that the fact they are marketing new beers under a new brand name allows them to use a different distributor than the one they were having trouble with. The new beers are only available on tap at a handful of bars while Bell's waits to see if their former distributor is going to sue to stop distribution (which apparently they promised to do). This interview names some of the bars where the Kalamazoo beers are available...

Same Brewery, different beer. Bells make approx.10 stouts. Lucky you, no Bells in NYC. Buy some 3rd Cooast Old Ale (another Bells beer), when it gets below 30 degrees, open, pour, enjoy and warm up....

Posted OT in another thread, but Bell's announced this morning that they have reached a deal with a new distributor and will be re-entering the Chicago (and the rest of Illinois) market with their entire line starting tomorrow.
