Marlow and Sons Inquiry

Hi All,

I am interested in taking a group to Marlow and Sons on a Friday night for champagne and oysters around 7 pm. I remember they used to have a special during the evenings on these two items. Is this still the case? Also, does it get really crowded on Fridays and if so, do they take reservations?

Thanks for your help.

That table in the front room probably couldn't hold more than 8, just so you know.

Not the best place for groups.

I got there last night (Thursday) at 6:30 with a group of 6 and there were plenty of seating options, both in the front and the back. The oyster special no longer exists, and it was only during happy hour to begin with. The oysters we had were ridiculously good though. The octopus salad was also great, FYI.

If you have a group large enough they will likely set side a table for you in the front room. I did it once with a large group, nice picnic benches, a littel tight, but it was pretty nice. They will work with you if you do a 7:00 seating…

I believe that special is no longer, I am afraid. They don't take reservations, but at 7PM, you should be fine! Enjoy! Everything is excellent. I went last week and they have house cured olives that are out of this world.
