Where should we grab lunch on Friday?

My office is on the watertown/newton line and on Fridays we like to get lunch from a more special destination. The usual suspects in the rotation are Hi-Rise, all-star sandwich bar, Blue Ribbon BBQ, Village Kitchen Pizza, El Pelon (we miss it so), Brown Sugar, Coconut Cafe, Deluxe Town Diner, and Fordees. I really like sandwiches from Russo's and the Meat Spot too but the office have deemed them "not special enough for Friday" given the proximity.

So I'm looking for some new places to throw into the mix. Requirements are $10 or under and transportable (we eat it at the office).

  1. How about Panera? They have great sandwiches, soups etc. Their bread is amazing and always fresh. They are located at 321 Arsenal St, Watertown...right near the Mall. They do have a menu online.

    1. What about Mexican from Tacqueria El Amigo in Waltham (not much farther than Russo's, and really good!), or Italian/pizza from Sweet Tomatoes in West Newton or Fiorella's in Newton (right by the Waltham line)? Or sushi from New Ginza in Watertown?
