Where do I dine near Broadway?

JCFOODBROKER Feb 6, 2008 09:29 AM

I am looking for a romantic, European, really nice restaurant. Where would you go?

My guess is you are speaking specifically about the theater district so I would suggest you look into:

    Tratoria Trecolori
Etcetera Etcetera (not very romantic but a very nice place) or sister restaurant Vice Versa

Several "romantic" restaurants in the Theater/Broadway district: Bistro Moderne, Triomphe. and the very seductive and French Chez Josephine.

Esca 43rd and 9th, Italian seafood. One of my top 5 places in the city.

What about the new Isieme? (supposed to be really good)

This downtown girl just went to Tratoria Trecolori recently (discovered it here). Not sure how romantic it is because we went for lunch. Good suggestion.

Cross St./neighborhood would be good, too...Broadway is a long, long St.!

As Broadway stretches from the bottom of Manhattan to the top, you need to be more specific. Are you talking about the theater district (around 42nd - 50th Street)?

Theater District, I have not been to NY in about Ten yrs. We are staying at the Marquis, so somewhere around there.
