<content>I just had a wonderful dinner at Fare Bistro, Queen Street East. The best duck confit I have ever had, with a lovely foil of roasted red pepper strips, and yuumy mashed potato (well, they were actually a step up from your typical mash) and some barely cooked (perfect) green beans. The confit was moist, but crispy, perfectly spiced. The balance on the plate was great. This was a prix fix dish, which was preceded by a very nice mesclun salad, and followed by a very good creme brulee (not too sweet, not to creamy, just right).

I dined alone,on a very quiet night, and was loved the way I was welcomed and served.

I will be returning to try other things on the menu.

Altogether a very enjoyable and totally unplanned meal.
