Lunch at O'hare help.

I'll be at O'hare this Sunday at lunch time. Can anybody suggest a hot dog stand (or anything else) in terminal 3?
Thanks in advance!

  1. You can find a map of Terminal 3, showing the location of concessions, at

Obviously, you'll find a variety of foods, so it's largely a matter of personal preference. If you're looking specifically for hot dogs, Gold Coast Dogs has a stand in the Rotunda (at the junction of Terminal 3, Terminal 2, and the G concourse).

The place I like to eat in Terminal 3 is Wolfgang Puck - not the small carry-out stand by gate K12, but the bigger sit-down restaurant by gate K1. They have a nice variety of salads, other entrees, etc. (And if you're looking for something to "grab and go" instead of eating there, they have a rack of such items at the entrance to the restaurant at K1, as well as the stand at K12.)

At breakfast time, I sometimes get eggs at the Corner Bakery in the Rotunda, and they're okay too. I assume they serve sandwiches at lunchtime, like most Corner Bakery locations.

That's good to know. I never venture beyond Terminal 2 and the food there sucks. Thanks.

If you're interested in seeing a map showing the location of concessions for any of the other terminals, go here and click on the terminal you're interested in:

There are more concessions in Terminals 1 and 3 than in the other terminals because those have the most passenger traffic.

I've not been to the Gold Coast Dogs in O'Hare, just the one in Midway. Of course, they serve decent Vienna Beef dogs, as do all GCD locations. But, oddly enough, it's my preferred airport breakfast. Passable bagels w/cream cheese and scrambled eggs. From my experience with their other locations, Gold Coast generally has a reasonable quality/value proposition. I know you're talking lunch, but for the future...

        1. The pizza and chicken at wolfgangs is actually pretty good.

The hot dogs have gone downhill over the last 15 years. There used to be a little lady with a push cart who had great dogs, but alas she is no longer there.
