Any restaurants in Chinatown that offer this? I prefer a sweet and sour schezuan sauce but I will be happy with whatever's out there.
Hop Li on Alpine St. I don't think you will be disappointed, in fact you may be most pleased.
2nd the rec on Hop Li. My fav is the deep fried flounder...served with a kind of mushroom brown sauce and you can eat the bones and all.
When I was at Mayflower every table besides us had one of these. I don't eat fish and don't know about the sauce, though.
May Flower fried fish isn't the same as they serve at Hop Li. The one at May Flower is like $5 and the one at Hop Li is like $25 and much different even though its a flounder.
