The Arches in Newport - Where did it go?

Hubby and I drove by this weekend that noticed that the Arches was closed and that there was a new sign that simply said "Coming...." Anyone have any ideas of what might be coming? Just curious...

The Arches location is going to be taken over my McG (the film director) and The Goodells (formerly of Aubergine, Troquet currently Red Pearl, Dakota, 25 Degrees).

When my wife and I where dining at Batali's joint in The Venetian at the wine bar the Goodells happened to be sitting next to us. They told us all about their plans. They were extremely nice and and we had quite I nice long conversation with them. All I can say is that I am very excited about the concept. As an added plus...it is also walking distance from my house ;-)

The Arches is now 2 restaurants.
The Arches Grill and Barbecue in the old Aubergine location on 29 th street and
Arches on the water in Cannery Village where Le Quai used to be.

If he wants to open a third he could look at the Kantina spot which appears to be closed.

There was talk of this recently on another thread. I was asking the same thing. Basically, what has happened is this:
1. The Arches people closed the original location and moved to the old location of Aubergine.
2. The Aubergine people were thinking of opening something at the old Arches location (weird, I know!), but I don't know if that went through, or if someone else is opening on that spot.
That's all I know - anyone else?
