Business lunch in Waltham?

I am taking a client to lunch in Waltham. Unfortunately, all of the good restaurants in and around Moody St are closed for lunch (Tuscan Grill, Tempo, Il Cappriccio, La Campania, Marcellino). And I don't want to do Indian, Watch City, Bison County, Iguana, etc.

Any suggestions?

Some places I have done business entertaining in Waltham (depending on how adventurous my guest was):

Elephant Walk -- there's French food for folks afraid of Cambodian

Green Papaya -- nice-looking, Westernized Thai place

Sato -- unchallenging Japanese and American Chinese food, including passable sushi, decently nice-looking setting.

Sushi Yasu -- good Korean/Japanese place, casual.

Sadie's Saloon -- a real saloon, looks like it got frozen in the 50s, with very good food, including excellent steak tips. A good option if you want a beer with lunch. Lively, good mix of blue- and white-collar types.

Erawan of Siam -- another handsome, not-too-authentic Thai place on Moody.

Sichuan Garden -- fancyish American Chinese restaurant, not great food, but familiar.

Solea -- if I recall correctly, this quite decent Spanish place (tapas and entrees) is open for lunch on Thursday and Friday.

The Chateau -- pretty bad Italian-American food, but reasonably suitable for a business lunch if your client isn't too demanding.

Naked Fish -- I don't care for this mid-scale seafood chain with a few Caribbean touches, but lots of folks like it, and it's nice enough for a business lunch.

If I'm on my own, I love Taqueria El Amigo (authentic Mexican), Mi Tierra (Salvadoran/Guatemalan), Beijing Star (very authentic Northern/Eastern Chinese), Domenic's (great Italian subs and baked goods, takeout only), and Carl's (big, good cheesesteaks).

Thanks for the suggestions. I totally forgot about Elephant Walk, although parking on that part of Main St is atrocious. We're going to lunch on Friday so Solea might be a good option.

There's a public garage just around the corner from Elephant Walk where I've never had trouble finding a metered space. I think it's on Common Street.

Don't forget about the municipal parking garage behind Elephant Walk. There are usually a few spaces, or try the upper level off Lexington St. right before you hit Moody.

I'm going to second both Solea and Elephant Walk. I think those are your best choices--one note, the food at Solea can tend towards the messy, hard to eat in an elegant way sort. If that's a concern, you may want to head towards Elephant Walk instead. And get the Rouleaux. Yum.

What about Ponzu on Moody Street? I haven't been there yet but it looks pretty nice and is open for lunch. Would that place be appropriate for a client lunch? Any comments on the food?
