Chip Shop in Brooklyn (two locations one on Atlantic Avenue, the other in Park Slope) is supposed to be authentic British food. They serve stuff like bangers and mash, mince meat pies, and fish and chips.

I second Chip Shop, also there's Alchemy in Park Slope - they've got fish n' chips and sticky Guinness pudding for dessert!

Alchemy
56 5th Ave
Brooklyn, NY 11217

Another place to check out is A Salt and Battery in Manhattan (In a little section of the Village that's becoming known as "Little Britain!") - the prices are high for fish n' chips, but they do have deep fried Mars Bars.

112 Greenwich Avenue
(12th and 13th Streets)
Phone: (212) 691-2713
Fax: (212) 691-8739
