Take out party meal ideas

I have reserved a community center for my husbands graduation from medical school. Now, all I need is the food! I am having at least 50 people and price is not a huge concern. I want the food to be good, but can't come up with any ideas. I live in Bethesda, so anywhere in Montgomery county or near would work. I thought of Urban BBQ, but I wanted to go a step up from that. Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Lebanese Taverna is another possibility. There is one in the new Rockville Town Square and a smaller on at Congressional Plaza. I have been to parties catered by them and the food was really good.

You can never go wrong with LebTav! Their food is the best middle eastern in the area.

Thanks for the ideas, I like leb taverna, but I think Fiesta in a Box is a little out of the price range. I can't do $30 a person. :-)

I don't know if it's a step up from Urban BBQ, but Chicken on the Run on St Elmo St in bethesda does party meals.

You might try Sol de Espana in Rockville. When they were in Bethesda (under the name Andalucia) I know they did catering, especially large vats of paella.

Does Jaleo cater? I know they do in house...that might be interesting.

I love Jaleo, I guess it's just a matter of calling around. If anyone knows specific places, or knows how the food travels, let me know.

Jaleo doesn't cater, but Fiesta in a Box catering was started by a former chef at Bethesda's Jaleo. IT IS NOT JUST MEXICAN FOOD. Their tapas menu is outstanding. The food is interestng and delicious. I know the name is corny, but you will not be disapointed. They are also extremely easy to work with. My personal fave is the pear and blue cheese empanadas.
