Best delivery options to 38th & Broadway

Chowhounders - I am looking for good (or atleast decent) delivery (mostly for dinner between 6:30 and 8:30pm) to 38th & Broadway. Any ideas?

I greatly appreciate any help you can offer.

  1. It been awhile since I've eaten in that area but the seafood salad (expensive but sharable) from Spanish Taverna on 38th was great. A corned beef sandwich from Ben's is okay and I don't know about delivery but I did like the food at Jack's on 40th

    1. You've got Olympic Pita and Szechuan Gourmet in the area. A few of the K-town places will deliver to the area as well -- such as Cho Dang Gol, Hyo Dong Gak, Natural Tofu.

Yes -- well, at least for me. But I only live three blocks away. Some of the K-town restaurants have very limited delivery zones.

      1. I don't live too far from there, and I've been having OK luck with Delivery.com. Sort through restaurants by Food Quality to browse. But I like Home on 8th for Chinese food (kind of addicted to their steamed dumplings and they're really fast, at your door within 20-30 mins). Yatra does amazing Indian breads but you must order before 9pm. Wouldn't recommend getting soups from Yum Yum (Thai), I always have indigestion afterwards, although their noodles are good.

          1. Sarge's Deli, on 3rd, b/t 36th & 37th, delivers to all parts of Manhattan. Open 24/7.

            1. Would second the recommendation for Lazzara's. There's also a place called Simply Pasta in the neighborhood (maybe on 42st or 41st between Broadway and 6th) that's not bad.

Also, Ginger's on 7th (Chinese) is decent, and there's a good Szechuan place somewhere on 39th between 6th and 5th.

You could also see what the hours are for Kati Roll Company, which is on 38th or 39th between 6th and 5th.

                3rd rec for lazarr'as, and 2nd rec for ginger's.

              2. Djerdan delivers. I had a bowl of white bean stew with smoked beef there a couple weeks ago. Sturdy, satisfying cold-weather chow.
