Park Slope egg bfast?

Since 2nd St. closed, I've lost my best place for a few sunnyside up eggs, decent toast and coffee where I can sit in a nice place with a friend or colleague and chat. Anyone have any suggestions? Cannot bear New Purity - the food is pretty low or that awful Park Cafe. Just a nice decent bfast with good eggs and good coffee.

Hope & Anchor is quite good, though of course not in Park Slope. If you can hold out until the weekend, Beast has magnificent scrambled eggs - really some of the best I've ever had. (Not quite in the Slope, but close.)

Cousin John's bakery and cafe near Lincoln Place has a great breakfast and has a nice casual atmosphere.

I'm bummed about 2nd st., though I though their reno was a mistake. Also, i like a good egg bfast, but 2nd is not where I'd go to get one. Their omelettes and scrambled eggs were always kind of hard and dry (maybe they were better w/ the sunny side up). All that said, Perch, on 5th Ave., isn't bad, and they have a great cappuccino. But not ideal, I'll admit, for the egg breakfast.
