anyone know the real scoop on Da Flora - reviews are mixed...seems some love it or hate the rude service and will never go back. Has anyone been there recently? I'm looking for a nice, romatic place for my partner and me. :)

I've been several times and have never experienced rude service -- on the contrary, I've always felt very welcomed there. And the food is not like any other in North Beach. I agree with Civil Bear that reservations are best.

I went despite the reports of rude service. Glad I went. Great food and perfectly fine service. Just be sure to make reservations ahead of time... ;>)
