Dupars Brownies:

Just ran into Dupars on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City when I saw how good the brownies stood out to me.

They were $2.50 each and I had to get one to go.

I just took a bite and this is by far in my Top favorite chocolate brownies in the area.

Do others agree too?

I have to say I was a bit disappointed in the brownie, what I thought was a great deal for a huge brownie, was a brownie with more chocolate icing than actual brownie
the brownie itself was good, but I cant eat icing raw like that

I had a really good cakey one at 7-eleven. I was really drunk when I ate it but I remember it was so good.

ironic... someone bought one today before they came to the superbowl party... he said it was like eating cardboard... the thing crumbled like three week old stale cake, and it smelled like swiss miss... he was completely sober too... i wouldn't recommend it...

It's been years since I have had one. I used to work within walking distance and would purposely go just for a brownie. I was afraid after being bought by Tiny Naylor's that they would change. Perhaps not...

is it fudgy? cakey? chewy? i have my favorites, but it certainly depends upon which kind we're talking about... can't compare fujis and galas!

Oddly, Koo Koo Roo does an awesome chocolate chip brownie.

I'm also fond of the fudgy, gooey cream cheese brownie available at Ralph's market... crazy, I know.

Diddy Riese does a cakey, chewy brownie that's also quite good.

Alas, it is so rare that I allow myself to suffer the indulgence of a brownie, but I will try Du-Par's next time I'm in the vein.

I've had the one at Ralph's you brought up-indulge and report back after you try this Dupar's brownie, get it to go and saviour it, they are HUGE!
