Bmore, is Monday a bad day to get oysters?

Are some days better than others for oysters in Baltimore?

    Any day is a good day for oysters, IMO. I haven't noticed any real difference between one day and another in terms of freshness.

      Yes, jarred oysters keep awhile and oysters on the half-shell are served live, so no freshness worries. Mondays are fine. It doesn't matter that the watermen weren't out on Sunday.
