My wife just let me know that the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church is selling Rwandan coffee beans after its 11 am Sunday service.

As a somewhat novice coffee geek, I've ascertained that Rwandan coffee is pretty hard to come by. I believe it's been sent direct by a grower in Rwanda, but I'm not 100% sure.

It's $10 a pound and I imagine the proceeds go direct to that church's reconstruction efforts.

Coming from a part of the country where churches provided much of the restaurant culture for an area (western PA), this struck me as quite intriguing. I'll have my wife pick up some next week, but I just thought I'd let you all know.
