Blintz in Montreal

Hey All,

Moved here a year ago. Still havent been able to find a good blintz in Montreal. I haven't even been able to find the frozen ones in the freezer section of the grocery stores. Any recommendations on where to find a good cheese or fruit blintz would be most appreciated!

Thanks!

Blintzes are very easy to make, by the way. Basically they are a kind of crêpe. You'll find plenty of recipes on this and other food sites. The traditional cheese used to stuff them is also easy to locate at the places mentioned on this thread and others.

Fresser's on Decarie might be worth.

Kosher Quality on Victoria may have them as well. They have excellent Knishes. Try their Mushroom Knish.

Does Kosher Quality have a location at 2765 avenue Van Horne

Snowdon Deli, I believe they have them for takeout.

Yes, Snowdon Deli, as well as Famous Deli Boys. The Main deli may still sell them too, but I'm not sure.

I can't vouch for quality, but perhaps Kosher World at Decarie Square? I plan on checking them out myself sometime soon, and will be watching this thread for recommendations!
