Cha Fahn is Now VeeVee (in JP)

This new restaurant in that location is ready to open on Tuesday, Feb. 5 (Super Tuesday!). I may go vote that night and then run across the street to check out the new restaurant.

  1. Thanks for the update. Any idea what the menu is like?

    1. Looks kind of pesco-vegetarian: http://www.veeveejp.com/menu.html

Also from the website: "Vee Vee serves mid-priced, modern American food, with a focus on fresh seafood, vegetables and grains. The menu, which will change seasonally, features local products whenever possible. Appetizers range from $5-$10, and entrees are priced at $20 or less. Additionally, we offer a carefully chosen selection of craftbeers from around the world and wines from smaller producers highlighting lesser-known varietals."

Hm. There is not a single thing on that sample menu that I wouldn't eat, and at popular prices. Good graphic design, too. I am intrigued.

So this is right next door to Sweet Finnish, by the Dunk, right?

            yes

        2. They looked like they were open when I drove by last nite around 6:15. Maybe still doing work but the lighting looked like dining lighting.

They are having some 'private parties' before they open to the public.
