A wonderful start to the day, perfect stop on the way to Rockridge BART. The polenta, egg dishes are very good--same attention to quality of ingredients and careful execution as their lunch and evening menu. Great morning pastries--danish, muffins, scones (flavors of all of the preceding change daily), morning buns and cornetti (Italian croissant with apricot filling)--with tiny ramekins of butter and preserves, good but not great coffee, the warm ambience of the downstairs cafe and straight-ahead jazz at soft volume in the background.

One of my friends has gone a few times and thought it was really good. He raved about the egg and pancetta pizza.
