What's going on with Bin 8945?

Is it still open or closed? Did they sell it and will it still run as Bin? When will the new gastropub be open and where?

I believe Bin is closing in mid-February and is currently open only Wed to Fri. Whatever the new place is, it won't be run at Bin. It will be an entirely new restaurant.

Unfortunately, I don't know the new location but am hoping it is not as far away from my house as the current one!

No wonder. We went last weekend and it sucked! After all the rave reviews I had read about this place, I was sorely disappointed with both the food and the service.

For the record, Bin is open Wed, Thurs, Friday and Saturday. The restaurant is still operating.

Had a fabulous meal there last night, albeit on a scaled down menu. David sold the restuarant, and said that he may or may not be open for dinner tonight Saturday, but come next week the "Bin" is gone for good. He's going to travel Italy for a month before starting on the new place. I will very much miss the Duck Fat fries (and onion rings on last night's menu)... much more so than the "Bin Hangover".

Do hope that those fries among several other "staples" on the Bin menu survive the relocation and reopening, and hopefully with Mike Bryant as chef.
