Does anyone know where I can get this in a larger quantity (loose)?

I made some sorbet yesterday with it and I spend an hour opening up little packets into a measuring cup!

      Thanks!

      My bad!

Ralphs Market has the baking size box of Splenda, and I was told by employee at Costco, they are going to carry Splenda in less than a month. Some of the Lo-carb websites offer pretty good deals online though....

Splenda Rocks! So Does Carbo-light Ice Cream!!!

          Thanks!
Now I'm intrigued. What's Carbo-light ice cream and where do you get it?

To make a long story short, 2 years ago I decided to lose all the weight I had gained after getting married the 2nd time. I lost 170lbs in 6 months. Then I came across "Carbo-Lite" Ice Cream/frozent dessert...

I showed my nutritionist the ingredients in Carbo-lite, and she said, well it's like eating "nothing". At the time "Splenda" was just coming to market.

Well it is a frozen yogurt/dessert substance that is made with Spenda, but unlike frozen yogurt, has only 9 calories per fluid oz, and has 2 grams of carbs per oz. In addition, your body appears to process it like a protein, in liquid form, so it metabolzes pretty quick.

I have tried upwards of about 25-40 various flavors. Most are good, some are average. Cherry, and pistachio are two of my fvorites. Here in the west side you can get it at "Yogurt Factory" on Santa Monica east of Bundy. Near Maarina Del Rey near those theaters next
to Aunt Kizzy's next the "Wherehouse Music". Also at Studio Yogurt on Laurel Cyn & Ventura Blvds below The Goodguys.

I recently came back from Miami after 6 months away while filming, and if not for "Carbo-lite" I would have been resolved to eat way too much "Cuban Chow" and even with going to the gym probably would have returned to LA a few pounds worst for wear. I have turned on lots of friends on to it, and they eat it
several times a week in leiu of yogurt or icecream.

I am including the link for the product line with this "long winded explaination".......thanks...

Okay, I'm intrigued... I want to know how you lost 170 lbs in 6 months.

I lost 60 lbs after the Northridge earthquake (I USED to live on the epicentre), but have gained it all back and then some. I don't necessarily want another devastating occurrence to help me lose weight.

Damn...the downside of loving good food....

I love carbo lite ice cream!!!! I go to the yogurt factory in s.m. all the time. Do they have this product on the est coast too? I'm going to college in Boston and will miss my "ice cream..."

                1. re: Lauren

The lo-cal craze isn't exactly huge on the east coast, however, one of my assistants came back from Boston recently, and told me he found more places were carrying Carbo-lite. He even saw "buses" with AD's on the side of them. Yogurt Factory "rocks" the prices are really good, and the flavors are usually good.

My all time favorite Carbo-lite flavors are "Pistachio", and "Cherry"!
