  1. Bourbon Panna Cotta and Cornmeal Madelines. Divine!
    Lemon Chess Buttermilk Tart. Yum
Apple and Almond Bread Pudding, more please!
Pecan Sandies, also great with the Bourbon Panna Cotta
Sweet Potato Tart with Coconut Crust and Pecan Streusel and Rum Creme Anglaise, that should be on every Thanksgiving table. It is etheral. So light in texture it seems as though it could float off of your plate.

This rememberance of dinners in the past few years has me thinking and planning a new party this month. I guess I need to get to it.

I also remember your mentioning the Madeleines - with white corn meal, I think? Is white corn meal less gritty than the yellow kind, by any chance?

The cornmeal I use is Indian Head from Morehead City, MD. It is white and quite fine. I'm fortunate to be able to get here in an ethnic grocery. I did order some for my MIL from Amazon.
