Breakfast in N. CT/S. MA

We're driving up 84 in a few days and need a good place to stop. We don't have hours to linger over breakfast, nor can we go too far from the highway, but would really appreciate recommendations for a local restaurant that will start our day off well. Thank you.

Mo's Midtown in Hartford 3 min. off the Sisson Ave. exit of I-84 or Country Diner http://www.thecountrydiner.com/ off I-91 in Enfield

Annie's Country Kitchen - Sturbridge, MA RT 131 - 5 mins off of I-84 right before the Mass Turpike exit. Place is awesome. Google them and you'll gets some reviews. Awesome little place, everything homemade and the specials are great. Had Banana Nut Bread French Toast (homemade bread Of Course) last time I was there.

There's a place in Vernon Call the Vernon Dinner , Which has very good breakfasts. Its located on Rt. 30 North. You would get off at exit 65 bare to the right. At light in front of K-mart you are on Rt.30 take the right lane and proceed Thur the exit. The dinner is up on the left about a 1/2 mile. To get back on the high way north to Mass just retrace your route untill you get to Dobson Rd. turn left and go over the highway and the entrance ramp is on your right. It takes you right back to Rt.84.

I agree with Kunman, I stopped there a couple of years ago and the food was tremendous! Might have to wait a few minutes if you go on the weekend, but it will be worth the wait.
