What ever happened to Flooky's hot dog stands. I used to go there with my dad when I was a kid. He was from Chicago and said tht it always reminded him of home. I recall there were 2 of them. One I think was in front of a batting cage.

  1. There were 2 left in the West San Fernando Valley, athough there might be one now near Canoga on Victory Blvd. Ph# was/is 818 887-5443.

I spoke to my assistant who said his last experience there was " swill food", bring the big bottle of "Tums Ultra"! I remember eating there 8+ years ago, and haven't been back. But one man's gasto nightmare is another mans "White Castle" - I guess.....

    Good Luck!

    1. There was a batting cage in the back or on the side. The place was hard to miss as it was painted yellow and black. I think it was on Ventura Blvd in Encino or Sherman Oaks.

      1. I know there's one on Canoga Ave. and one on Victory. Both in Canoga Park.
