Farmer's Market Driven Restaurants

Am almost finished with Michael Pollan's completely inspiring, freeing me from the matrix, new book, "In Defense of Food". He sums up his own book in seven words, "Eat food. Not so much. Mostly plants." So... I'm having a love affair with veggies at the moment. A lot of lunches at City Bakery buffet, the root veggie pot pie at Rustic Canyon for dinner, salads and veggie sides and soups to go with my meat dishes and my pizzas. Filling up on veggies, yea pounding veggies, so that the meats and the breads become subordinate. It's really really cool. Please give me recommendations of restaurants that make this easy, either because they are veggie-centric, farmer's market driven, or just have great salads and soups and veggie sides.

      Farmer's Market-driven (although many helpings of animal-protein along the way):

      Lucques, Campanile, Hungry Cat, AOC, BLD, Grace, Josie's, Jar, Clementine, Inn at the 7th Ray, M Cafe, etc
