It is really hard to keep kosher around here. I live near washugol and there isnt a lot of places to shop for not to spendy kosher food. Help please. We right know have to go to portland.

Do you mean Washington State? From a map, and from the little I know of the area, Portland is the nearest community of any size likely to have kosher food shops. That said, in the US at least, I find that I only need a kosher shop for meat, cheese, and random little specialty items such as balsamic vinegar. I don't use too much in the way of prepared foods, and as such, I don't often find that I need to head to a store specializing in kosher food.

Sadly I guss so. Its just that gas prices are so high. My Imma is finding it hard to go. I am craving kosher sandwich meat.

Take a look at www.shamash.org/kosher It appears that the Albertsons in Portland has a kosher selection.
