Is the meat at katz deli kosher?

    You're talking about Katz's in New York City, right? Well, Katz's isn't certified, and they offer such delicacies as a salami, bologna, and cheese platter (mixing meat and milk products isn't kosher.) I'd assume that the meat itself isn't kosher, either.

        The *water* at Katz's deli is barely kosher :-)

          At one point, the meat was kosher at Katz's, I believe, but I'm fairly certain it has never had orthodox supervision.
