Best Pizza in Oregon

I'm going to be up In Oregon would really like to have amazing Pizza. What do you guys think about Apizza Scholls? And do you think there is better pizza in Oregon than this?

Apizza in Stayton (different outfit, despite the name) is very highly regarded in the Salem area - it was the runaway winner of the "Eat Salem" blog Best Restaurant in Salem poll.

Hours are three nights a week (Thur - Sat) 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm. This will last through February.

I'm sure you'll be fine by going to Apizza Scholls. Keep in mind that they only do whole pies (no slices), and that they make a fixed amount of dough per day. When they run out, they run out. If you're going to visit, bring a friend to help you out and show up early if you go on a Friday or Saturday night.

Are there any other places you reccomend? and also any good pizza places open for lunch because I know Apizza Scholls isn't.

I was going to suggest Ken's Artisan Pizza, but it doesn't look like they're open for lunch either.
