I'm seaching for the PERFECT blueberry muffin recipe. The best I've ever had is a Perkins Blueberry Muffin but all recipes I've tried fall far short. Any recipes or suggestions on how Perkins get their muffins so moist and delicious? Any other excellent muffin recipes?

    1. Jordan Marsh Blueberry Muffins are famous in the Boston area, They are the bomb. Here is a recipe for them that is very good. In fact, I made them yesterday for breakfast.

The only thing about this recipe I would add....make sure you use unsalted butter and it is softened before creaming. Also the amount of blueberries is quite high. I would lessen it to 1 3/4 or 2 cups. You can substitute frozen or canned blueberries. If you use canned (which I did yesterday on purpose to use up a can hanging in my pantry) drain them, dry them, then lighly flour them before adding to the batter.

On another post, it was advised to flour frozen berries and add them while still frozen.

      Good luck and enjoy.

Along the same line, does anyone have an equally OMG chocolate muffin? A local bakery does a chocolate chocolate chunk muffin that is just that, OMG, when you bite into it.

I avoid all muffin recipes that won't get me to that point, figuring why bother?
