Guatemalan tamales potential SD

On Linda Vista Rd across from the Vien Dong store is a little Market called El Quetzal - the famous bird from Guatemala. The older woman who runs the store says that sometimes she makes G. tamales on the weekend - which are perhaps my favorite of all. No English is spoken but they are super friendly.

On a side note - what do you guys reccomend on this southern end of LV rd. I noticed a new thai place, pho hoa hiep, bale, and a Mexitessen.

Whatever you do, don't try the taco shop next to Quetzal that advertises birria de chivo, it's bloody awful stuff. Very bad experience.
