  1. I once had a huge Champion - great at extraction, PITA to move & clean - also it takes up a lot of space. Now have a Breville - much easier to clean & move. Not quite as good at extraction, but for the difference in $ & cleaning I am very happy.

Do you have their compact or standard machine?

I have the Juice Fountain JE95XL. I purchased it since I did not want a huge investment (wasn't sure if I would use it as much as I thought), wanted to make juicing as easy as possible (the large opening means very little to no chopping), light weight & ease of cleaning. This was the only juicer in my price range that met all of my criteria. I caught it on sale & used a BB&B 20% coupon. The plastic does tend to get water spots that might bother a more fastidious person. I've been very happy with it. Some weeks it is used daily, some weeks not at all. I have had it for a year & a half with no problems!

    2. An older metal vita-mix, or the Champion for best IMHO.
