East LA Street with Food Vendors

What is the street in East Los, that has the mexican street vendors with all kinds of various stuff from horchata to gorditas and sopes. I hope they are there and not rained out tonight.

  1. I want to say 1st and Breed? Or Cesar Chavez and Breed. I always get them mixed up.

    1. Further east there's a truck near the corner of Chavez (the street previously known as Brooklyn) and Rowan, next to the Thai restaurant. Some tasty tacos can be had on a cold night. The ones near Breed and Soto are on Chavez. There's always King Taco. First St. is still going through the Gold Line construction and may only have one lane open in each direction in some sections. It's a good night for some soft tacos.

      1. For Mexican Hot Dog & Elote vendors I like Whittier Blvd. I forget the cross streets, the area where the big sign spans over Whittier Blvd.

        1. You will find the most street vendors in the are from Olympic and Soto ( near the old Sears building) to Atlantic Blvd. There are more on Whittier Blvd and at the intersection of Whittier Blvd. and Atlantic Blvd (which includes the Arch).
Generally late at night there are a few trucks and vendors that migrate a few blocks west into the shopping mall (Target, Kmart).

The BEST of L.A.'s taco trucks can be found on Olympic Blvd. It is the TACO MECCA.
