Looking for something ethnic for tonight

Hi, craving for something different tonight. Any ideas for good unique/adventurous ethnic places, like Latin American, African or Middle Eastern places? It would be the three of us. We're game for pretty much anything. (Not looking for the usual ethnics places like chinese/southeast asian/indian/mexican) Thanks!!!

Ali Baba Turkish Cuisine is delicious and reasonable. Esperanto is a great place for Latin.

This does fall into "Mexican", but if you've not tried it, it is very different from typical Mexican - Itzocan Bistro. I've not tried the E. 9th Street location, but love the other one - they do wonderful things with huitlacoche. Not a taco on the menu.

Haven't been in a while, but I enjoyed L'Orange Bleu in SoHo/NoLIta in the past. It's French-Mediterranean-Moroccan, not fancy, but attentive service and good atmosphere. The many different flavours just come together so well in your mouth... I should return soon!

I'm a huge fan of Pamplona. Though it's not as high end as his eponymous Urena, and the cuisine is now more bistro-style than haute, Chef/owner Alex Urena is still creating Spanish-inspired dishes that are complex as well as delicious.
