Loop Restaurants Sunday night
We're looking for a restaurant near the Cadillac Theatre in downtown Chicago (W. Randolph St., so in the Loop) for Sunday night. Any ideas? I know that River North is a prime location for interesting restaurants, but was wondering if there is anything worthwhile south of the River in the Loop so that we wouldn't have to park twice. Thanks for any thoughts.

A block south and a couple blocks east of the theater is Atwood Cafe, in the Hotel Burnham. They serve excellent and creative American comfort food, and are open on Sundays. You can see the menu on their website at www.atwoodcafe.com
A couple blocks north and a couple blocks east of the theater is Catch 35, on Wacker Drive, specializing in seafood. They're open on Sundays, too. www.catch35.com
If you're interested in Chicago deep-dish pizza, Giordano's location on W. Randolph is a couple blocks west of the theater, and specializes in double-crust "stuffed" pizza. www.giordanos.com If you prefer single-crust "pan" pizza, Pizano's is a couple blocks south and four blocks east. www.pizanoschicago.com In either case, phone ahead with your pizza order to avoid waiting 30-45 minutes for it to bake.
I like Custom House a lot, but it's about nine blocks south of the Cadillac Theater, which can be a brutal walk in winter. www.customhouse.cc
