Quick dinner before Sonics game?

Earl of Sandwich Jan 25, 2008 07:02 AM

Looking to grab a quick bite before the Sonics game. Can anybody recommend something casual, quick and tasty near Key Arena? Thanks!

If you want to go to the top of Queen Anne, there's the Hilltop Tavern, Betty and several other good places. It's a hike or a drive though. Really close to the Key is Moxie, 10 Mercer, and we sometimes go the The melting Pot and have cheese Fondue in the bar.

not sure what time the game is, but Moxie has a great Happy Hour and is right by Key Arena.

Buckley's (in the old Dukes spot on lower QA) is decent, and consistent, not too expensive.

Racha (upscale, non-greasy Thai) on Mercer, or Roti (Indian) on QA Ave are both quite tasty and can be done in less than an hour. I work in that neighborhood a lot and those are by far the best two places, IMO. Lotta options around there though.

2 or 3 blocks away, at 500 Mercer street, is Pagliacci pizza - good pizza (specials with Salumi salami) and salads, Manny's and and few more on tap, probably wine too.
Dick's Drive in is even closer.
