Yummy food in/near Middleton, NY?

I am staying at the Middleton Courtyard Marriott, and it appears that Red Lobster is the best restaurant in the area. Does anyone have suggestions for a better dining experience? Or even a nice bar with decent food? Much obliged.

Hi, I assume you mean Middletown, NY.
Here is a list of good restaurants in that area:
Nina -27 West Main St (@ North St) American, Eclectic--a favorite of weekenders from NYC.
Blue Finn Grill & Sushi- 157 Dolson Ave (@ County Rte 78) Asian, American
Cosimo's- Rt. 211 East... a little past the Town Hall--Italian (great brick oven pizza)
El Bandido-- near the Orange County Fairgrounds,(I forget the exact street)--Mexican
Then there are always the big chains--Friday's, Outback, Ruby Tuesdays,etc.

But Nina and Blue Fin are my 2 favorites in that area. BTW, I'm also a weekender from NYC
