Saturday Brunch recos

Hey Crew - Making plans for brunch in Boston this weekend and interested in your thoughts. Flexible on neighborhood.

Looking for a nice place - not necessarily just to spend a lot of $$, but to have it be a little more special. Emphasis on great coffee and excellent service, not too noisy or hectic, but kind of hip.

It's not the last time I went out for brunch of course, but last year we went to The Fed (prior to converting to Mooooo) and had such a great experience there - food was good, coffee delicious, service outstanding. I don't know if I'm all that exciting about checking out Moooo, but will consider it if you encourage me to do so.

Suggestions??

The B-Side is great for brunch- I get the Down Home (ham steak, red-eye gravy, scrambled eggs, and grits) about every other week. My wife loves the biscuits and gravy. Plus, their bloody mary's are excellent.

for saturday brunch two great deals are at Aquitaine and Masa, both in the south end.

i would definitely recommend aquitaine. i was there last weekend for brunch and it was great. good price too

Both Aquitaine and Union (same ownership) have specials for brunch on Saturday. Both are excellent.
