Best Cookies in Charleston S.C.

To say I am a fan of cookies is an understatement -- I am looking for outstanding cookies of any type in the Charleston Area. Have a GPS and will be roaming around Downtown, Goose Creek and possibly over to Folly's Beach. Any recommendations/thougts will be greatly appreciated.

I've never been, but a place called 3 Smart Cookies recently opened on East Bay St.

Don't miss Saffron on East Bay Street. They have a great variety of cookies and other desserts, and whenever we go, we always get a box of cookies to go.

And while in Charleston...don't you dare miss out on trying benne seed wafers!

Try the cookies at East Bay Meeting House. This coffee shop also has a bar in the back with comfey couches where you can have a Bailey's and coffee with your cookies. The pastries are made by the lovely Winburn (pastry chef at McCrady's next door ).
